Wacky/Weird Wed News- REDHEADs Style
History:
We’ve all heard that blondes are dumb, brunettes are smart and dependable, and that curly-haired women are unhinged, but of all the hair stereotypes out there, no one suffers more injustice than redhead do.
Throughout history, they’ve been subjected to discrimination and fearful prejudice.
In ancient Egypt, red hair was seen as so unlucky, red-haired girls were burned alive.
Red hair is also found amongst Polynesians, and is especially common in some tribes and family groups. In Polynesian culture red hair has traditionally been seen as a sign of descent from high ranking ancestors and a mark of rulership.
According to Greek myths, redheads turn into vampires when they die. HOW about Vampire QUEEN FTW!!!
SCIENCE-HEALTH
Red heads are very different & many scientist have tried to explain it away by calling our genetics mutated. But if if science also is showing neanderthals were mostly redheaded, wouldn't that mean that non redheads are the MUTATED ones.

Redheads are the true population Minority... avg out to be around 3% of all ppl.

I will admit...I wouldn't mind being this Kick-Ass- though HOW do we do it in our UNDERWEAR I have no clue. Guess we ARE that Awesome.
There might actually be some truth to the myth of the lustful redhead. A recent study by a sex researcher in Hamburg, Germany found that women with red hair had sex more often. Another survey in England duplicated those findings, and reported that redheads had sex an average of three times per week, compared to twice per week for blondes and brunettes.

Even if redheads do have to endure a lifetime of sunburns and being called “ginger,” their hair doesn’t just make them stand out, it makes them incredibly unique. Some famous fiery redheads include Queen Elizabeth I, Galileo, Thomas Jefferson, Napoleon, and Vincent Van Gogh. More recent redheads include comedienne Lucille Ball and birth control pioneer Margaret Sanger. Not exactly a bad crowd to be associated with, if you ask me.

nastiest witch i know is a red. but my best friend is one too.
in other news, my daughter said in the car "at least i still have my blonde eyes". i laughed at her. i'm naturally smart and dependable, but i shoulda been a red.

I like red hair. I have red hair in my blonde hair if that counts... but I have heard actually that blonde, not red, hair is a mutation.
I have always been intrigued by redheads. Hence my Irish lass fantasy. LOL.

I've also got a fair amount of red in my beard (not seen in my profile pic, obviously).
My grandma was a ginger... so maybe if I marry a redhead I might have ginger kids!
Did you know, that the ratio of people born with red hair is the exact same ratio of people born with both male and female sex organs? So for every red-head you've met you've also met someone with both anatomical sex organs.(I can't remember the medical term for this at the moment).
P.S., my hubby has a red goatee whenever he starts growing out. Black hair, green eyes, and a bright red goatee.

Red heads are great! I lay them down over mud puddles so my brunette girlfriends can walk on top of them, and not ruin their shoes!
