Picture....worth a thousand words
Today my daughter E's friend was in a wreck with 3 others in a 2 person truck....it flipped 3xs. T. plus another were thrown into a field...his arm is broken & will need surgery & lots of PT.
I am so thankful E was not in this truck....sounds harsh but true.

OMG!!!
... That is enough to scare someone out of driving every again. Especially at my age... You are right, it could have been so much worse. Keeping ALL of them in thoughts and prayers, my dear. ((((HUGS))))
Oh my, that is horrible. Were the other 2 people okay? It doesn't sound harsh that you are thankful that your child was not in there, it's being a caring and loving mom! :)
@Foodhog - everyone but T, just bumps & bruises.
@Kris0logy - Well I guess in the end they are lucky it was just a broken arm, bruises and bumps, it could have been their lives.
wow, scary
Thank God they were not killed and they were blessed to be. Those kids had an angel on their shoulder and I hope they have all learned from this. Also hope they were driving legally and had insurance.
@Grannys_Place - They were well protected! The accident was bc of slick roads they were actually n there way to church & took a corner, hit an oil spot. And they had insurance & were legal....
Wow, looking at that truck I can see that he was lucky to walk away. Never feel bad for the relief you feel knowing your kids are safe. That's a mother's job
@BoulderChristina - I TY :) hope they learn that a seat/seat belt for each person is Necessary not just more comfortable.
So the friend sent the picture to your daughter or it was through the grapevine that you got the picture?
@PPhilip - oddly a lady at the store where I was buying a balloon had the picture. Small 18k town.
Oh wow! Having been in a couple serious accidents this year, I'm glad your daughter wasn't in the car, as well, and I'm glad all her friends are okay.
As a side note - Seatbelts: not just a fashion statement.
Oh my goodness I am glad all is ok many years ago my daughter was in a roll over she was in a small truck sitting in the middle between her boyfriend and another guy if it wasn't for her boyfriends quick thinking and laying over her holding on to the steering wheel I may have lost my darling Shannon was unhurt but he boyfriend broke both of his shoulders holding her in the truck...
Wow! That is ugly! Not harsh at all to be thankful your child wasn't involved. Whew!
So amazing they were all able to walk away alive from that. That just is... so scary!
Thank God they are safe, with just minor injuries...not that a broken arm is always minor, but they were very lucky....so scary when young ones are out driving. J gets her license in January...she is a very good driver so far, but as a parent you're always scared to turn them loose on their own. I will show this pic to her...
OMG it acutally need say nothing with this photo.
Wow. Someone was watching over them.
I'm glad no one was killed!
OMG
Someone was definitely looking down on them ! They are super-lucky !wow, that's awful, but I'm glad it's "just" a broken arm for T. and no one died.
Ouch!
i wish i was in that truck and would died. i could fill the world with 10000000000000000 tears and never feel better. ill never have a wedding
